PROCESSING STEPS

From the storage tower the new sheet metal is loaded on the longitudinal transporter, ready for the new processing

STEP 1

Designer

In the "gripper manipulators" area, depending on the raw material to be handled, the 4 robotic arms self-install some tools: suction cups or magnets; thus equipped, they pick up and place the sheet metal on the exchangeable table (vertical exchange)

STEP 2

Designer

The exchangeable table with the machined sheet metal is placed outside the laser cutting zone for collection and handling of finished parts and exchanged with the second table for placement inside the laser cutting zone of the new sheet metal

STEP 3

Designer

While the laser head begins cutting the new sheet metal, the robotic arms, equipped with suitable suction cups or magnets, pick up, move, and position the finished parts from the pick-and-place table to the dedicated storage level. This sequence shows the simultaneous activity of the laser cutting and the handling and storage of the finished parts

STEP 4

Designer

While the laser head continues its work, the longitudinal conveyor places the finished part plane on the storage tower

STEP 5

Designer

This is followed by the pickup and placement of a liftmaster (comb frame) that intersects the interchangeable pre-processing one and thus picks up the scrap material for movement to a frame in the area set aside for the collection of skeletons (remnants of processing)

The liftmaster is relocated to its original position The cycle repeats after the operator has programmed the new machining process
